it was a really really really long day! i'm amazed at how i'm still so alive considering that i woke up at 6.30am just now.
being a very sensible student, i had to rush down to school before 11am to check if the cupboard with the crotales in it was locked so as to inform my teacher if he needed to make his way to school to help unlock the cupboard. that was why i had to wake up so super early to travel to singapore land - TO CHECK IF THE CUPBOARD WAS LOCKED. thanks la.
so then i reached school at like 10.57am, and i frantically opened the room door, to find that the cupboard wasn't locked. so my teacher didn't need to come to school just to unlock the cupboard for me. i just felt that it was like a waste of time and effort AND SLEEP so i wasn't exactly at my happiest.
roamed around school, went to office to check this check that kpo this kpo that. and, I GOT THE BEST NEWS I COULD EVER GET! :) which i shall be secretive about, because i'm a very shy girl. to the library afterwards, to borrow cds so that i can rip. WOOHOO! got two albums from barenboim! very excited over it, and and and another album with piano pieces by takemitsu!:)
got the cds and headed back to serangoon to get my mallets. very smart, didn't have fore enough foresight to bring mallets home the previous time.
practised from then on, all the way till 5 PLUS. wanted to exchange the staff card for my ezlink card then, just to find out that the stupid woman had already left her office. like, THANKS LA it wasn't even 6pm yet. i got there at like 5.50pm okay. wasn't exactly super pissed because of the SUPER GOOD NEWS! :D
so i had to leave school without my ezlink card (which is a superrrrrr insecure thing), cabbed down (with reimbursements) to jurong, bringing the very heavy crotales along with me, and started rehearsing for the up and coming percussion ensemble concert on sunday.

anywayyyyyyyyy, i feel like a very strong person because i managed to lug the crotales with me! :) k la i cheated a bit cus sarah tan helped me with the stand for Part A of the journey. hahaha! but still, i'm damn strong. you can't deny that. CONFIRM.
rehearsal was quite tense. you get people giving black face, you get people breaking down; it was quite a demoralising sight. i might have been very tense too but as i said, I GOT SUPER GOOD NEWS that constantly made me damn happy. so, i was feeling pretty okay throughout the rehearsal. hopefully thursday will be good. last rehearsal, only rehearsal with the soloists. i can do this. we can do this! :)
