MAIN STUDY DAY!

the only thing to look forward to was the feeling of accomplishment upon stepping out of the recital venue. okay fine, another thing to look forward to was THE CAMWHORING! the results in an obscenely astronomical amount (not even number) of photos taken. HEHE!:)

i felt extremely stupid because the first recital was at 10.15am (i thought it was at 9am), so i merrily (not so) woke up at 6.30am to make it to school at 8am to shift instruments and have them setup nicely at the recital venue BY 9am. yes, just to find out that the first recital was at 10.15am instead of 9am. which means i could have slept for another 1 hour and 15 minutes in the morning. AHHHHHHHHH! felt like killing myself right there and then.

but anyway, life went on and i was panicking a tad too much to be comfortable with taking exam. many many unforeseen circumstances emerged and i swear i haven't felt this screwed for a long long while. i forgot to wear my wrist bells, i forgot to turn on the snare, and wrong mallets were on the wrong hands (different hardness different sounds etc.). queen of panic la seriously.

oh wells, main study exam's finally over, that's like the thing that i'd been living for, indirectly meaning that i can go die now. NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH beowulf's around the corner but all that fuss is making me dislike it more and more by the millisecond. BUT, rather than looking at it like its a chore, it's a kind of responsibility too ain't it? no choice. school fees paid, decisions made.

pre-MAPE dinner was great! good curry, good gossiping curry friends, good times!:) MAPE was erm, fine. oh wells, at least we managed to nail certain parts of the score! percussion's fun!:) I NEED TO PRACTISE NEW PIECES NOW!

like, finally, after main study exam's over. i'll camp in school this entire 3-month holiday.
