hello everybody! i haven't appeared here for the LONGEST RECORD-BREAKING TIME! but chey, not even ten days yet then i a bit miss blogging already. hahaha!
so anyway, school started and i've been pretty busy with school, basically catching up on my basics and that goes to mean that i'm in school most time of the day (or night too). mallet stickings are killing me softly and i really think i need to learn how to hold my mallets properly. rudiments are slightly better but then again, i really need to hold my sticks properly.
i have to say that i'm really lucky because percussion people are very cosy and we've got a very very nice and comfy room with a 'handcrafted sofa' and pillows and free lockers for everyone!:) oh and the floor's carpeted so i will not hesitate to sit on the floor even if it might not be that clean after all. BUT we will go get a hot water flask soon so that we can be very healthy babies that do not drink from the disgusting water cooler!:) PLUS i get to borrow a very trendy apple macbook to check my email once in a while (and very soon i think i'll get to use that every other day) so i think i'm really quite a cool person!:D
i've been ruthlessly spending many money and that is really a very bad thing! okay maybe i'm not that ruthless because i buy stuff that i REALLY CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT, i.e. mallets, drumsticks and metronome. i mean, i can't keep going 'eh lend me your metronome can?' every day right? CORRECT. so i bought a much cheaper metronome than that TAMA one which i was supposed to get. YAY!
food is another issue to talk about. I NEED CHEAP AND NICE FOOD LA BASKET. i'm living a very sad life with minimal happiness from food, and that is a very very sad thing:( but not to worry, i think i have plenty of time to explore the central area for good food (CHEAP AND NICE).
okay i'm really quite excited because i haven't blogged for a century. SO HELLO JESSIE IS BACK! :D
i can't wait for tuesday because I GET TO SKIP SCHOOL WITH PERMISSION TO ATTEND A PERCUSSION WORKSHOP HAHAHAHAHAHAHA THIS IS SO EXCITING!:D
