i think it's time to jot down some serious stuff here. you know what i mean, i haven't been THINKING.
so now, it dawned upon us that reality hurts. the cruel fact that academic competence is all that matters for now, the sad truth that some of us might have been conveniently slotted into the outcast category of this oppressive system, all these are just THIS TRUE and i guess we can't deny that, for very obvious reasons.
results are the only basis of judgement for the great and mighty schools. so what if you're kind-hearted? so what if you're really excellent when it comes to sports or music or what-so-ever items that are none of their concerns? pointless. you go to school, you study.
this system is not working. why encourage your subjects to be active in ccas when it's obviously not your concern? it's creating a problem here, for sure. look, it's driving students crazy, making them do things that are most of the time not what they want to do.
like, do you think LIBRARY CLUB is so damn exciting and that's why you get more than ten participants? HELL NO. they joined library club because they saw the loophole in this system. they wanted less time spent for a worthless CCA so that more time can be devoted to studies. i don't mean to discriminate anyone in that particular CCA or that CCA itself. but just ask around, you'll know what i mean.
i hated this and i'm still hating this.
