today was pretty exciting because second thing in the morning i saw CHONGXIUTANG! she tapped me on my shoulder and i took two seconds to register the specs-less face with that previously very very black and bespectacled face. HAHA! and before i knew it, i let out a very classic reaction - the jessie squeak. hahaha! i think she was quite freaked out but who cares! i haven't seen that darling for two years and she just popped out of nowhere. i found it rather amazing. so i just left lia with her mum and started talking to xiutang. and it was very very exciting to talk about all those nittygritty things that used to be so so mundane back when we went puny little nanyang girls sitting around a table having history lessons. haha!
the coincidence was, i was just thinking about xiutang while packing my old notes and notebooks, because she had very lovingly left a page-ful of love in my little notebook!:)
consequently i met plenty of nanyang girls. trust me, it was really a nanyang land la! people like valerie phay, xinyu, xiutang, yueting, wanxin, joelyn, sihui, luling, HANHUI!, MEITING!, etc. etc. and of course there were the hey-i-know-your-face-but-what's-your-name kind of acquintances.
and the first thing meiting said to me when she saw me was, 'eh, wo yao qu kbox!' that was quite an unusual greeting but that's really meiting for you! hahaha! this girl's really fun to be with and i used to call her SUNFLOWER MEITING! she just reminds me of sunflower. must be the smile and the craziness!
hanhui's still the same old sweet girl. LOVE HER TO BITS! first thing she did was to pinch my face la! she said i used to do that to her all the time and now she's all out to take revenge! HAHA! :)
good old nanyang days, good old nanyang days!
retail therapy was awesome, and i'm glad i've been spending before a's results are out. i guess i won't get to utilise anymore money when results come out. i'll be so screwed by then. ARGHHHH! :(
